

Antonio Jesús Tinedo Rodríguez holds a PhD in Bilingual and Intercultural Education (University of Córdoba), a BA in Primary Education (University of Córdoba), and a BA in English Studies (UNED). He also holds an MA in Information and Communication Technologies for Language Education and Processing (UNED) and an MA in Specialised Translation (UCO).
He was awarded the national “Beca de Colaboración en Departamentos Universitarios” by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Vocational Training (MEFP), which enabled him to begin his research career at the Department of Education (University of Córdoba). He subsequently received a UNED–Santander predoctoral scholarship and a UNED FPI fellowship.
He is currently an Assistant Professor (Profesor Ayudante Doctor) in the Department of English and German at the University of Córdoba (Spain), where he teaches undergraduate courses in English, Intercultural Education, Discourse Analysis, Lexicography, and Post-imperial Narratives. At the postgraduate level, he teaches TEFL for students with special educational needs (SEN) and Discourse Analysis.
His research focuses on Didactic Audiovisual Translation in language education and on Critical Discourse Analysis, integrating corpus linguistics and cognitive approaches to examine gendered and misogynistic discourse, as well as its pedagogical applications.
