Luis Ángel Gil Acirón holds a Ph.D. in English Studies from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED), a Master’s Degree in Information and Communication Technologies in Language Teaching and Processing (UNED), and a Master’s Degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory and Upper Secondary Education, Vocational Education and Training, and Language Teaching (UNIZAR). He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Psychology (UNIZAR), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (UVa) with majors in English (University of Cumbria) and Special Education (UNIZAR). He is currently working as a Technical Advisor for Foreign Language Education at the Department of Education, Culture and Sports of the Government of Aragón, Spain. His research interests primarily lie in the area of second language acquisition, ICT in education, and educational gamification.
