Specialization in Specialized Translation from the University of Zaragoza and Master’s Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language (L2), Intercultural Education and Educational Sociology from the University of Alcalá de Henares. PhD candidate in the PhD Programme in Philology at UNED, with a research project focusing on didactic audio description (DAD) applied to the teaching of Spanish grammar as a foreign language (SFL). Publications focus on DAD, linguistic mediation and accessibility in language teaching.
Current position as English for Specific Purposes lecturer at the Institute of Modern Languages and researcher in the HDLC (Digital Humanities, Language and Communication) Research Group at San Jorge University in Zaragoza. Previous experience as Associate Lecturer in the Department of English Philology at the University of Zaragoza, as well as Spanish as a Foreign Language (SFL) teacher at Austin College (Texas, USA), the University of Galway (Ireland), and the University of Manchester (UK). Member of the editorial board of RAEL (Revista Electrónica de Lingüística Aplicada).
