Mariazell Eugènia Bosch Fábregas holds a PhD in Translation, Gender and Cultural Studies (University of Vic). She is an assistant professor at the Department of Translation and Language Sciences at Pompeu Fabra University. She has been an adjunct professor at the Department of Foreign Literatures and Languages at the University of Lleida from 2020 until 2025. Mariazell is member of the research group TRACTE (Audiovisual Translation, Communication and Territory) and member of the teaching innovation group ARENA (Accessibility, Audiovisual Translation and Language Learning). Her fields of research are audiovisual translation, didactic audiovisual translation, localization of videogames, literary translation and gender.
