Verónica Arnáiz-Uzquiza holds a PhD in Translation and Cross-cultural Studies from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), an MA in Specialized Translation from the University of Valladolid (UVa), and an MA in Audiovisual Translation from the UAB. She is a lecturer at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting of the University of Valladolid (Spain), where she teaches on the BA in Translation and Interpreting and the MA in Translation in Multilingual Digital Environments. Her research interests include Audiovisual Translation and Media Accessibility, Translator and Interpreter Training, and Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools. She has published extensively, presented papers at national and international conferences, and participated in research projects in these fields.
