María Luisa Rodríguez Muñoz

María Luisa Rodríguez Muñoz holds a Phd in Languages and Cultures from the Universidad de Cordoba, Spain, is a sworn translator of Spanish and an expert in Migration Law. She obtained a traineeship grant from the DG-Translation of the European Commission (2003-2004) and from the Tourism, Trade and Sports Council from the Regional Government of Andalusia (2006-2008). She has collaborated as a transcriber and proofreader for the Bakun International Institute of Seville (2008-2009) in the Mujerrural and Ruraljoven projects and in a study on the needs and demands of women of other nationalities in Aljarafe-Doñana. Since 2009 she is a professor of intercultural translation and legal-economic translation of English at the University of Cordoba. Her lines of research are the didactics of sworn translation and translation of contemporary art. She is currently co-director of the journal Alfinge.
